FAQ:

1. What is the difference for DIP and SMD full color LED display?

DIP LED display comes with red, green and blue diode welded through their pins at a certain distance one another depending on required resolution and viewing distance, with a minimum pixel pitch of 10 mm. All of them are for outdoor application.

Surface Mount Technology (SMD) miniaturize RGB diodes in a little casing welded directly on the PCB board, with wider viewing distance, have always been considered the right LED option for indoor and outdoor application, in shops, sports halls, TV shows, stations etc. The smallest pixel pitch is 0.9mm.

2. How we estimate your LED display project?

We estimate each LED display project is base on the LED display sizes, installation way, application (indoor or outdoor), viewing distance, and the LED display function requirement. Get the solution for customer projects, including the screen resolution, control cards, cabinets, video processor and accessories.

3. How to select the LED display pixel pitch model?

The viewing distances and the desired image resolution are the key point of the pixel pitch model. Pixel pitch refers to the distance between the various pixels placed on an LED display screen, which directly impacts the resolution of LED display modules or panels. More pixels placed tightly together means higher resolution, if pixels are placed further apart, the resolution will be lower. So, before selecting LED display pixel pitch mode, we have to get the viewing distance data and the desired image resolution.
